How to use IZIKO Fuel

Step 2

Turn briquette so that the wicks face upwards.

Place briquette, in an IZIKO stove, cooking

unit of your choice or on a grid with

sufficient airflow.

Light the wicks with a match or open flame.

Protect wicks from wind in primary flame phase.

Step 3

The briquette ignites with

a flame that last on average for 15 minutes.

Flame phase can be utilized.

After flame subsides, minimal

smoke is detected.

Step 4

When flames and smoke ceases the briquette

glows red. Use for cooking, heating

or braaing (barbeque). Ensure that

airflow is sufficiently maintained between

briquette and supporting surface, as well  

as between briquette and pot,

pan, braai (barbeque) grid etc.

When igniting IZIKO Nuts or anthracite, place briquette on top of the nuts/anthracite when lighting . Sufficient airflow is essential throughout all processes for complete combustion and optimal results.

Use IZIKO briquettes in a well-ventilated area.
